Leadership Grapevine will offer an educational experience designed to develop an awareness of the City of Grapevine\, its relationship with the Metroplex and to provide personal leadership training. At the conclusion of the program\, participants will be better prepared to seek leadership roles\, both within their business and community.\n\n\n\nParticipants in Leadership Grapevine will be selected through an application and selection process. The purpose of this process is to assure a mix of people from diverse backgrounds and experiences that represent a cross section of the city.\n\n\n\nTUITION\n\nTuition for Leadership Grapevine is $400.00\, prior to July 24. Tuition after July 24 is $500. A $100.00 deposit is due with this application form\, refundable to individuals not selected as participants in Leadership Grapevine. The balance is due upon acceptance in the program.\n\n\n\nA limited number of scholarships may be available (up to $250.00) to persons not otherwise able to provide tuition expenses.\n\n\n\nThe enrollment deposit $100.00 must be submitted with the application. The balance is due upon acceptance into the program. Checks are payable to Leadership Grapevine. Please contact the Chamber office if special arrangements need to be made for payment.\n\n\n\nPARTICIPATION/COMMITMENT TO THE PROGRAM\n\nTo gain the maximum benefit from the Leadership Grapevine program\, class members are expected to participate fully. You are expected to attend all sessions. The retreat attendance is mandatory. Classes will be from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.\, one day a month from August through April. If more than two sessions are missed\, the participant will not graduate with the class. Graduation is scheduled for May\, at the monthly Chamber luncheon.\n\n\n\nATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS \n\n\n Every participant shall attend every session in its entirety.\n Unusual circumstances may require an excused absence. No more than 16 hours may be missed to graduate from program.\n Arriving 15 minutes late or leaving 15 minutes early constitutes missing a full hour.\n Any absences counted will be recorded\; the participant will be notified in writing of the total to date.\n Attendance records for each participant are available for review at a reasonable time and agreeable location.\n The program evaluation form must be turned in at the conclusion of each session for attendance to be counted as complete.\n Attendance at retreat is mandatory.\n You are required to attend a Grapevine City Council briefing or meeting along with a meeting of the Grapevine-Colleyville ISD Board of Trustees during the year.
