Matt Feryan is the Emergency Management Coordinator for the City of Grapevine where he works to enhance emergency preparedness, response, and recovery capabilities of the city and community. Additionally, Matt is responsible for the city’s emergency operations center which activates to support city resources during times of disaster and large festivals. Prior to working for the City of Grapevine, Matt has held emergency management positions with the cities of Plano and Arlington.
Matt holds a Masters of Public Administration from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor’s of Science in Public Health from California State University, Fresno. He is also a Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) from the International Association of Emergency Managers and is a graduate of FEMA’s National Emergency Management Advanced Academy.
Matt and his wife Ashleigh reside in Carrollton, TX where they have one puppy named Bailey. Away from the office, Matt enjoys playing golf, traveling, and volunteering in the community.
