Hello! Using Gallup’s StrengthsExplorer, this interactive workshop helps middle school students discover what they naturally do best. Students will learn their Top Three Strengths and gain practical tools for using them at school, at home, and with friends—building confidence and learning skills to lead a life that SHINES. Calling all Middle Schoolers: Discover Your Strengths! If you have a child who is 10–14 years old, do you know their strengths? Does your child know what they’re good at or what makes them feel strong? Do they know the skills, talents, and qualities that come naturally to them—and how to use them as a student, friend, or family member? Our Middle School Strengths Explorer workshop is designed to help you and your child answer those questions in a fun, encouraging environment. Barton Street Grapevine, TX 76051 Event Description In this strengths-based workshop, students will discover their Top Three Strengths as identified by StrengthsExplorer and learn what those strengths mean in real life. Our facilitators will guide students through understanding their unique combination of strengths and how to use them to make confident decisions, work well within a group, and grow into strong, self-aware leaders. What to Expect Complete the Gallup StrengthsExplorer assessment (before the workshop) Receive your child’s Top Three Strengths results Learn what each strength means and how it shows up in everyday life Practice applying strengths as a student, friend, and family member Leave with a confidence boost and practical ways to keep using strengths at home and school Strengths Assessment Process Upon submitting your registration, a House of Shine team member will communicate the process for completing your StrengthsExplorer assessment. The assessment must be completed 7 days prior to the workshop.
