GENERAL  
The Retail Sales Associate is tasked with providing excellent customer service, possessing product knowledge, demonstrating effective selling skills, operating a POS system, serving the public in the retail sales of beer, wine and spirits. 

DUTIES 
Coordinate e-commerce orders for delivery. 
Sells liquor to the general public, which includes maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of all products in the store, addressing customer inquiries and concerns, stocking and rotating merchandise on the shelves, ensuring proper product displays, and processing special orders.
Deliver friendly customer service in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment while efficiently handling high-volume transactions on the POS system.
Receive and manage stock, assist with merchandising, maintain the sales floor, monitor for underage or intoxicated individuals and potential shoplifters, and participate in janitorial tasks.
Set up promotional displays and restock shelves with cases and bottles as needed.
Ensure counters and register areas remain clean.
Adhere to TABC laws regarding customer ID verification and the sale of alcoholic beverages.
 

REQUIREMENTS 
Must be 21 years of age. 
Must obtain TABC Certification Seller/Server within 30 days of employment. 
Experience operating a cash register and handling cash transactions is required.
Previous experience in off-sale liquor establishment is preferred. 
Familiarity with personal computers is preferred.
Retail sales experience is preferred. 
Knowledge of various liquor brands and the common uses is beneficial.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. 
Must be reliable and punctual. 
Shift Hours: 9:00am to 3:00pm and 3:00pm to 9:00pm.  Availability on Saturdays and weekdays is required.
